A BIT OF BACKGROUND ON WHO I AM
Hi! My name is Marian and I have the privilege to be able to serve Buyers and Sellers in the Central Valley since 1989! I am also a Broker-Associate of the number ONE Real Estate firm in Stockton, Prudential California Realty. The team is a dynamic group of full time professionals who expedite the driving focus of my business since I left Corporate America in 1989 and entered Real Estate. That focus is to deliver the very best service, protection and tools that can be offered for clients, customers and colleagues. We hold the dreams, hopes and fears of these people in our hands and it is a responsibility that we accept with professionalism, enthusiasm and a liberal amount of good humor.
Many people (and it seems less each day) are “in real estate.” My husband David, my daughter Sylvia and son David-Thomas will acknowledge that in my case, “real estate is in me.” (As for my two grandchildren, they just see the benefits; hey I have to spoil somebody!) I’ve been a multimillion dollar producer every year since 1989; I’ve been a member of the Master Club every year since 1997; I’ve been twice honored as Realtor of the year; and serve in leadership positions in the Central Valley Association of Realtors; I’ve served on and/or chaired a number of local association committees with emphasis on government, politics and land rights issues. In 2007 I was President of the Central Valley Association of Realtors and I am will serving on the CAR Board of Directors Executive committee in 2012 and am a Director for the National Association of Realtors.
Armed with the knowledge that determination can and does win, I chaired the initiative to repeal Stockton’s Property Sales Transfer Tax. The repeal drive was a success. Property rights and values are core tenets of the American Dream. I was honored to be one of the champions who managed to put a little more hope into the dream!
Still very active on the local level, I have am increasingly more involved in the California Association of Realtors and the National debate on the best way to bring California out of the current real estate crisis. Stockton isn’t the only place where the American Dream is threatened. I’ve worked at the state level in government affairs, taxation issues, political action issues, as well as acting as a state director. This year I will be ending my service of the California Association of Realtors Political Action Committee, watching races and candidates friendly to private property rights for Californians. I will continue my service as a Political contact to Assembly women Cathleen Galgiani and Congressmen Dennis Cardoza and Jerry McNearney.
I have plaques on the walls, pins on lapels, ribbons and trophies all of which acknowledge my peers appreciation of my efforts; however; my greatest rewards, (aside from the glazed clay hand prints of the kids) are the wonderful cards and letters from clients and friends who continue to affirm to me that my vision is right, IT’S ALL ABOUT THEM!
Should you find you need advise, ideas and/or a professional to protect you and help you obtain your long term wealth goals, then I'm your Realtor. Give me a call and experience the difference!
